J Woods gets some reps prior to the game
One last pep talk from DE prior to the end of warm-ups
AZT ready for some cold weather photography
Goodyear blimp in (er, over) the house!
F-18A Hornets from MCAS Miramar
Texas enters the stadium...
ASU was soon to follow...
The game looked pretty good as the kickoff approached...
...but by the time the kickoff was over, the Horns were near the 50.
The first series by the Horns was a sign of things to come...
...with plenty of long runs by Colt McCoy and other runs...
...by Jamaal Charles. Too many loooooong runs.
We did manage to catch J. Charles a couple of times
And now, on to the most talked about part of the game...
Rudy attempts to avoid the sack...
...but the ball goes into the backfield, headed to the sideline...
...where Mack's stepson makes the biggest play of the game.
After what seemed like 20 minutes of waiting...
...while the TX coaches try to set a record for coaches on the field...
...Rudy and the Devils get the ball back, 4th and 3, and pass it to...
...Chris McGaha, who evades his coverage...
...for his first TD of the season!
The TX cannon crew was so excited for McGaha that
they accidentally fired their cannon (cool smoke ring!)
Robert James with a big stop
Some of the "fans with a view" react to the Devil D stop on 3rd down
About here's when things started to get ugly...
...both on and off the field. Possibly due to all the beer? NAAAH!
This altercation (yep, the guy's in a sling) ran thru the 3rd qtr
and this one led to four or five fans being escorted out.
Yeah, it's fuzzy, but it is Musberger and Herbstreit
The TX band wasn't much for dynamic field designs...
...and even spelled "TEXAS" upside down and backwards!!
The fireworks at halftime were AWESOME!
The halftime show was odd though - bands playing with PA music
You can barely make out the Goodyear blimp's sign in the middle
The field from the TX side - looking at the ASU fans
Yet another time that Dexter was close, but not close enough
The last kickoff return for Rudy B - Thanks for the memories!
J. Woods hits a wall of Longhorns...
...but powers his way through for his first touchdown!
Not a great end to the season,
but a great season nonetheless!
Thanks Devils and DE and staff for a great 2007 campaign!
